Safe Sanctuaries

Each church in the Central Texas Conference is encouraged to put in place a SAFE SANCTUARIES, ABUSE PREVENTION POLICY as soon as possible and must have such a policy in place with a copy on file in the Conference Office no later than May 1, 2006.   The District Offices will collect the policies but all policies will be filed in the Conference Office and local churches will be held accountable by the Conference Office staff.  This mandate was established and passed at Annual Conference 2005.  A model local churches may use in preparing their individual abuse prevention policy is below.
