A Workshop for Local Church Mission Teams

November 17, 2007

The Bridges of the Spirit Training Institute for Hispanic-Latino/a ministries is offering this workshop for local church mission leadership teams, committees, and small groups in an effort to address local missions.  With an emphasis in multicultural experience and awareness, the event is designed to offer missions leadership a time of reflection, brainstorming, and planning in order to begin a program or bring an existing program to more clarity of purpose and action.

In addition to the workshop elements, the event will also give people the opportunity to actually experience multicultural worship.  In this, we as a group will not only open ourselves to God’s will and vision through corporate worship, but also be given the foundation of experience so that we might understand more fully what it means to be in mission with our increasingly multicultural neighbors.
